Directorate of Secondary Education of Assam releases the Assam NMMS Scholarship Application Form 2022. Students who studying in Government or Government-aided or Local body school can apply for this programme.

NMMS (National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme) is available for class IX, X, XI and XII students. Candidates can apply for the scholarship online on the Assam Government official website www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in.

Eligibility for NMMS Scholarship-

• The students should studing in Class (8) eight.

• The students should passed the Class 7 exam with minimum of 55 % marks.

• The awardees should get minimum of 55% marks in Class IX and XI and 60% in Class X for apply the scholarship.

• NMMS Scholarships are awarded to the gifted or meritorious students whose parental income is not more than Rs. 1,50,000 per annum.

• Students studying as regular students in class IX, X, XI and XII in a Government, Government-aided and local body schools for a maximum period of four years.

Documents required to Apply NMMS Scholarship:

• Photograph of Candidates

• Signature copy

• Caste Certificate

• If the candidate is disable then they need to provide Disability certificate.

NMMS Scholarship apply online 2022-

Eligible Candidates can apply the NMMS Scholarship in two different ways. They can apply on the ‘Vidyarthi’ app which is easily available on PlayStore. The another ways is that they can also apply on Government official website, which name is www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in. follow these given steps to apply for the scholarship.

NMMS exam scholarship details-

Students need to pass or appear for the NMMS Scholarship exam. A written exam of multiple choice MCQ will be held on 22 December 2022. The question paper will be in both Assamese & English medium. Students need to gave two question papers: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The OMR sheet will be in English medium. Children with disability will be given extra time, as applicable.
